Aebleskiver Pan: Must Have or Waste of Money?

There are things that make you already wonder whether they are really necessary before you buy them. But then something appeals to us so much that the product ends up in the shopping cart.
That’s what happened to me with the Aebleskiver pan. I follow many food accounts on Instagram, just because I just like to deal with exotic foods and interesting kitchen gadgets. Seen and bought. But was it worth the money?

What are Aebleskiver?

Aebbleskiver are Danish pancakes served in the shape of small balls. Classically, they are sweet and eaten with chocolate, fruit or jam. Now, to achieve the typical shape, it needs said aebleskiver pan.

The Aebleskiver Pan

The selection of such pans is, in well-known online stores, infinite and I finally decided on a medium-priced model with good reviews. For $25.00, it promises fast heating with a handle that stays cool and easy removal of the mini pancakes without sticking. After only 3 days, the pan arrived at my house and I tried it out immediately.

The Dough

To test my new pan, I decided to make two different recipes.
