Bulgur Stir-Fry with Ground Meat
Bulgur is a wonderful and also healthier alternative to pasta, potatoes or rice. I wanted to try something different as well and created a delicious variation to the typical rice stir-fry. Quick to prepare and it has a lot to offer in terms of flavor as well. Bon appetit!-Josefine
You need
- 1 Cup Bulgur
- 2 Cups Water
- 2 TSP Salt
- 300 g Ground Meat
- 1 Red Onion
- 2 Tomatoes
- Chives
- 2 TBSP Olive Oil
- Salt, Pepper
Here’s how to do it
- Boil 2 cups of water with a teaspoon of salt and add 1 cup of bulgur. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Peel the onion, cut into small pieces and fry. Add ground meat and season with salt and pepper. In the meantime, cut tomatoes into small pieces.
- Combine with the bulgur and olive oil. Fry everything together briefly and season with salt, pepper and chives.
- Done!
