Bulgur Stir-Fry with Ground Meat

Bulgur is a wonderful and also healthier alternative to pasta, potatoes or rice. I wanted to try something different as well and created a delicious variation to the typical rice stir-fry. Quick to prepare and it has a lot to offer in terms of flavor as well. Bon appetit!

You need
 

  • 1 Cup Bulgur
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 TSP Salt
  • 300 g Ground Meat
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • Chives
  • 2 TBSP Olive Oil
  • Salt, Pepper

Here’s how to do it

  • Boil 2 cups of water with a teaspoon of salt and add 1 cup of bulgur. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Peel the onion, cut into small pieces and fry. Add ground meat and season with salt and pepper. In the meantime, cut tomatoes into small pieces.
  • Combine with the bulgur and olive oil. Fry everything together briefly and season with salt, pepper and chives.
  • Done!
