Chickpea Cookie Dough

Still no idea what to eat for your next breakfast? – No problem, here comes a recipe that is easy to prepare, keeps you full and is a good option for all of you that are into fitness. Anyone who looks at my recipes will quickly notice that I am a big fan of chickpeas – and not only in savory dishes. Sounds strange at first, but chickpeas are great for various desserts – without leaving a strange taste. In vegan cookie dough, for example, they provide a creamy consistency and lots of protein – Convince yourself by trying!

You need

  • 140 g Chickpeas
  • 30 g vegan Protein Shake Chocolate Flavor
  • Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Orange
  • 10 g Granola
  • Water

Here’s how to do it

  • Here’s how to do it:
  • Pour the chickpeas and the drained water into a kitchen blender and puree them until they are nice and creamy and there are no more chunks left.
  • Then put the mixture in a bowl and mix it with cinnamon and protein powder. You can add a little water if necessary to achieve a creamy consistency.
  • Next fillet the orange. This tastes much better than simply cutting the orange into pieces, since none of the hard skin ends up in your breakfast. First peel the orange and cut off the outer skin with a knife. The flesh can now be easily cut from the spaces between the individual skins.
  • Add granola and the orange as a topping to your cookie dough bowl. – Now you can enjoy your quick, healthy breakfast!
