Chocolate Rolls
I prepared these chocolate rolls in the morning right before breakfast (admittedly: breakfast was a little later than usual this morning). But the wait was really worth it, because these chocolate rolls are easy to prepare and look great. Have fun trying!-Josefine
You need
- 500 g Flour
- 1 Pk. Dry Yeast
- 250 ml Milk
- 50 g Butter
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 TBSP Vanilla Extract
- 1 Egg
- 1 TSP Salt
- 200 g Dark Chocolate Frosting
Here’s how to do it
- Heat milk and slowly add in yeast. When the yeast has dissolved, slowly add sugar and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, roughly knead the flour, butter and salt. Then add to the yeast mixture and knead everything together with a dough hook until smooth. If necessary, add a little flour.
- Now divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Then roll out each piece into a rectangle and cover each short end with dark chocolate. Now roll up the chocolate ends towards the center to create the typical chocolate roll shape (see photo below).
