Coconut Date Blissballs with Dark Chocolate

The Blissballs are a great alternative to a piece of chocolate as a small snack in between meals. Plus, sweet bowls can be wonderfully complemented with this little extra snack.

You need
 

  • 100 g Dates
  • 100 g Ground Almonds
  • 100 g Coconut Flakes
  • 2 TBSP Cocoa
  • 1 TBSP Date Syrup
  • 1 TBSP Rice Syrup
  • 50 g Vegan Dark Chocolate
  • 1 TSP Nut Oil

Here’s how to do it

  • Put dates, rice syrup and date syrup in a blender and process.
  • Mix with 50 g of the coconut flakes and ground almonds in a bowl to form a chewy dough.
  • Form about 22 small balls from the dough.
  • Place the remaining 50 g of coconut flakes on a flat plate and roll the balls in them.
  • Microwave chocolate with 1 tsp nut oil in a bowl at 700 watts for one minute.
  • Drizzle balls with chocolate and refrigerate.
