Coffee Walnut Brownies

Coffee Walnut Brownies

Brownies are one of my favorite pastries. In addition to the classic chocolate flavor and walnut pieces, this version also scores with a little hint of coffee – perfect for me as a coffee lover.

You need

  • 125 g Almond Flour
  • 50 g Dark Chocolate
  • 30 g Walnuts
  • 50 g Baking Cocoa
  • 2 Eggs
  • 100 g Coconut Blossom Sugar
  • 75 g Margarine
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1 TBSP Vanilla Extract
  • 1 TBSP Baking Powder

Here’s how to do it

  • First, beat the eggs with the margarine and sugar in a bowl until foamy.
  • Fold in the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
  • Then add the vanilla extract and the salt.
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave and mix it into the dough as well.
  • Chop the nuts and fold them in.
  • Pour the batter into a baking dish and bake at 180°C for 20-30 minutes. It's easy to check when the brownies are ready with the chopstick test.
  • Cut into 6 equal pieces before serving. They are especially good with some vanilla ice cream and whipped cream 🙂
