Flatbread Toasts

Flatbread Toasts

Today I have a quick flatbread version for you. Instead of a dough we simply use toast – that saves plenty of time! You can always reheat them in the oven – enjoy!

Portions 6 Slices of Toast

You need

  • 6 large Slices of Toast or 8 small Slices
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 200 g Sour Cream
  • 1 TBSP Whipping Cream
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 150 g Shredded Gouda
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chives

Here’s how to do it

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  • Cut the chives in small rings and the onions in little cubes.
  • Now put the sour cream into a slightly larger bowl. All the ingredients, except for the toast, must fit into the bowl.
  • Add the cream and stir until smooth, followed by the onion, bacon and cheese. Mix everything well.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the toasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread your mixture on the toast slices. Now your toasts are ready to go into the oven for about 10 minutes. They should look crispy, have developed a slightly brown color and the cheese should be melted.
  • Garnish with chives to serve.
  • Bon Appetit.
