Flatbread Toasts
Today I have a quick flatbread version for you. Instead of a dough we simply use toast – that saves plenty of time! You can always reheat them in the oven – enjoy!-Nicole
You need
- 6 large Slices of Toast or 8 small Slices
- 1 Red Onion
- 200 g Sour Cream
- 1 TBSP Whipping Cream
- 100 g Bacon
- 150 g Shredded Gouda
- Salt
- Pepper
- Chives
Here’s how to do it
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- Cut the chives in small rings and the onions in little cubes.
- Now put the sour cream into a slightly larger bowl. All the ingredients, except for the toast, must fit into the bowl.
- Add the cream and stir until smooth, followed by the onion, bacon and cheese. Mix everything well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the toasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread your mixture on the toast slices. Now your toasts are ready to go into the oven for about 10 minutes. They should look crispy, have developed a slightly brown color and the cheese should be melted.
- Garnish with chives to serve.
- Bon Appetit.
