Grandma’s Potato Fritters
I meet a lot of people who don’t like potato fitters. Totally shocking for me, because I feel like potato fritters are the best thing that can be made from a potato! I hope that with this recipe even the last doubters will enjoy this wonderful quick dish.-Josefine
You need
- 1 kg Potatoes
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Large Onion
- 30 g Flour
- 3 TBSP Oats
- Salt
- Apple Sauce
Here’s how to do it
- First, wash and peel the potatoes. Add them to a food processor and process until finely grated.
- Repeat with the onion and mix with the potatos (Tip: using a large onion enhances the taste.)
- Now add eggs, flour and oats to the mixture and season with plenty (!) of salt.
- Pour this mixture into the pan in small portions and fry on both sides over medium heat. Make sure that not too much fat is used! Serve with apple sauce.
