Macaroni Casserole with ground beef

You need

  • 500 g Macaroni
  • 500 g Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 TBSP Tomato Paste
  • 250 ml Vegetable Broth
  • 400 ml Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 TBSP Thyme
  • 1 TBSP Oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 200 g Sour Cream
  • 250 g Shredded Cheese

Here’s how to do it

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  • In the second step, cook the macaroni in salted water.
  • Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
  • Fry the ground beef in oil. Add the onion and garlic fry for another 2 minutes.
  • Now add the tomato paste and mix it with the meat, followed by the crushed tomatoes and vegetable broth.
  • Then add the herbs and season everything with salt and pepper.
  • Now let this sauce boil for about 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, drain the pasta and place it in your baking dish.
  • Add the ground meat sauce and the sour cream and mix everything together in the baking dish so that all the pasta is covered.
  • Finally top with cheese and bake for about 15 minutes.
