Macaroni Casserole with ground beef
I love casseroles and could eat them almost every day. This time I made a macaroni casserole. Try it out and let me know what you think!

You need
- 500 g Macaroni
- 500 g Ground Beef
- 1 Onion
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 1 TBSP Tomato Paste
- 250 ml Vegetable Broth
- 400 ml Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 TBSP Thyme
- 1 TBSP Oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
- 200 g Sour Cream
- 250 g Shredded Cheese
Here’s how to do it
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- In the second step, cook the macaroni in salted water.
- Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
- Fry the ground beef in oil. Add the onion and garlic fry for another 2 minutes.
- Now add the tomato paste and mix it with the meat, followed by the crushed tomatoes and vegetable broth.
- Then add the herbs and season everything with salt and pepper.
- Now let this sauce boil for about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, drain the pasta and place it in your baking dish.
- Add the ground meat sauce and the sour cream and mix everything together in the baking dish so that all the pasta is covered.
- Finally top with cheese and bake for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
