Oven-Baked Yogurt Waffles
Since I moved to the USA, I unfortunately no longer have a waffle iron. It was impractical to take along and the plug does not fit even without an adapter. So far I have not bought a new one, but a silicone form for the oven. The waffles become a little softer, but are a delicious breakfast. Sweetened only with applesauce, this version is also a super tasty snack for in between – without a guilty conscience.

You need
- 1 Egg
- 2 TBSP Almond Flour
- 50 g Plain Yogurt
- 100 g Apple Sauce unsweetened
- 3 TBSP Almond Milk
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla Extract
Here’s how to do it
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Mix the ingredients in a bowl until smooth, then pour into the silicone form.
- Tip: put the form on a baking tray before. This makes it easier to transport without losing half the waffle dough on the way to the oven.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then serve warm and top
