Oven-Baked Yogurt Waffles

Since I moved to the USA, I unfortunately no longer have a waffle iron. It was impractical to take along and the plug does not fit even without an adapter. So far I have not bought a new one, but a silicone form for the oven. The waffles become a little softer, but are a delicious breakfast. Sweetened only with applesauce, this version is also a super tasty snack for in between – without a guilty conscience. -Natascha

You need
 

  • 1 Egg
  • 2 TBSP Almond Flour
  • 50 g Plain Yogurt
  • 100 g Apple Sauce unsweetened
  • 3 TBSP Almond Milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla Extract

Here’s how to do it

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Mix the ingredients in a bowl until smooth, then pour into the silicone form.
  • Tip: put the form on a baking tray before. This makes it easier to transport without losing half the waffle dough on the way to the oven.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, then serve warm and top
