Pasta and Ham Casserole
Hey guys! The first recipe I am going to share with you, is one of my favorites. I think, that you can’t eat casseroles too often.-Nicole
You need
- 500 g Pasta Penne
- 200 g Shredded Gouda
- 200 g Ham
- 200 g Whipped Cream
- 500 ml Water
- 1 TSP Tomato Paste
- 100 g Cream Cheese
- 2 TBSP Corn Starch
- Sugar
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
- Nutmeg
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
Here’s how to do it
- Preheat your oven to 200° C.
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente and place them in a casserole dish afterwards.
- Cut the ham into cubes and spread it over your pasta.
- Now put the cream, water and starch in a pot and stir it with a whisk until the starch has dissolved. Then add the remaining ingredients for the sauce. Let boil while stirring constantly.
- As soon as the sauce has a pudding-like consistency, spread it over the pasta in the casserole dish and add the shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until the cheese has a golden color.
