Pizza Soup
I love pizza soup! In my opinion, this soup is made far too rarely. Especially on birthdays or as a late breakfast (keyword: brunch) pizza soup is great, because it can be prepared well in advance and still tastes great after reheating. The ground meat can easily be omitted or replaced with a little mozzarella as a vegetarian version.-Josefine
with meat or as veggie version
You need
- 500 g Ground Meat
- 1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
- 2 Red Onions
- 1 Can Corn
- 1 Red Bell Pepper
- 1 Yellow Bell Pepper
- 1 Can Mushrooms
- 1 Pk. High Fat Cheese
- 100 g Whipping Cream
- 1 Bouillon Cube
- Pizza Spice
- Salt
- Pepper
Here’s how to do it
- Chop the onion and fry in plenty of oil. Add ground meat and season with salt and pepper. In the meantime, wash both peppers thoroughly and cut into small pieces. Add to the ground meat mixture and let everything stew.
- Drain the mushrooms and corn and add to the ground meat mixture. Now stir in the crushed tomatoes, fill up the emptied packing with water again and add. Mix cheese and cream until the soup gets a uniform creamy consistency.
- Simmer the soup for about 10 minutes. Season to taste. Done!
