Red Beet Spread with horseradish
My very favorite spread to eat on bread comes from Alnatura. I have discovered it months ago walking through the isles of a DM market. The striking color and combination of horseradish and red beet immediately attracted my attention, so I took a jar home and loved it! Unfortunately I can’t get it in the US, which is why I gave it a try myself. This way, all of you who like to try some special dips and spreads

You need
- 300 g Red Beet
- 4 TBSP Horseradish
- 200 g Cottage Cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
Here’s how to do it
- Peel the beet, cut into pieces and place in a blender with the cottage cheese. Mix until you have a smooth mass and no pieces of the beet are visible anymore.
- Next, stir in the horseradish and finally season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.Done!
