with Bell Pepper Sauce

Schnitzel Pot
This is a variation of the classic paprika Schnitzel. Very advantageous is that the schnitzel pot can be prepared the night before and only needs to be heated again for eating. The basis for this recipe is a bell pepper sauce, which is refined with mushrooms and parsley. Have fun trying it, it’s worth it!

You need
- 300 g Schnitzel
- 3 Red Bell Peppers
- 1 Onion
- 5 TBSP Tomato Paste
- 1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 Can Mushrooms
- 50 g Whipping Cream
- Parsley
- Spices: Salt Pepper, Paprika
Here’s how to do it
- Cut the onion into rings and sauté in the pan. Finely slice the bell bell pepper and add. Slice mushrooms and saute everything together for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in tomato paste and crushed tomatoes and pour in water. Now season the sauce with salt, bell pepper and paprika spice and let simmer for about 20 minutes. Finally, stir in a dash of whipping cream (about 50 g) and put everything together in a separate bowl.
- Now season the meat with salt and pepper and then cut into pieces. Sear in a frying pan and then add to the mixture. Chop some parsley and stir in.
- Finally, mix everything well again and put in a baking dish. Bake at 200°C for about 40 minutes.
