A while ago I searched online for different breakfast ideas. I found a lot of inspiration and created my own combination from the ideas: sweet couscous with roasted apple and nuts. -Natascha

You need
 

  • 1/3 Cup Couscous
  • 170 ml Oat Milk
  • Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Apple
  • Cinnamon
  • Agave Syrup
  • 15 g Cashews
  • 15 g Peanuts
  • Apple Sauce

Here’s how to do it

  • Cook the couscous with the milk, vanilla extract and some cinnamon in a pot.
  • Cut the apple into thin, small pieces. In a second pot, heat it up with some agave syrup until it begins to caramelize.
  • Chop the nuts and roast them in a pan with some coconut oil.
  • Put the couscous in a bowl, cover with the caramelized apple and sprinkle the roasted nuts on top. Serve together with some apple sauce and cinnamon.
